ST A1 mounting system increase ROI compared to other bases as they offer the possibility of changing the angle of the surface of the modules. The angle is easily adjusted to 10, 20, 30 and 40 degrees allowing the panels to be in place almost perpendicular to the rays of the sun, reducing the losses by the reflection of the sun. Selecting the proper angle during the year achieved increased efficiency of the PV system of around 10%.
Reliability and high resistance to weather
ST A1 are designed and certified for their durability in accordance with standards established by national and European legislation and financial institutions requirements. In particular they are designed according to the standards set by the Eurocode 1, Eurocode 3 and the Greek Seismic Regulations RDI 2000/2003. The system is certified by independent certification body.
Immediate implementation of the project
The assembly of ST A1 mounting system of a typical 100 kWp installation lasts only 2 days. One day last the foundation works and one the assembly works.
Three ways are proposed for the foundation of ST A1 to meet the demands of any installation. Pile driving method, concrete pad and boxing of the pile can be selected depending on the specificities of installation without affecting the static of the mounting system. The mounting of ST A1 is not limited by the morphological and geographical features of each installation. The rugged construction of hot deep galvanized steel allows installation in areas east coast where corresponding structures of aluminum face corrosion danger.
Reduced installation costs
The one pile structure of ST A1 mounting system results half the cost compared to other two pile mounting systems in foundation works. In case that the foundation made with concrete block the material savings are dramatic. Significant savings achieved by the fact that the mechanisms for the change of the inclination are removable and not fixed. So with few mechanisms the changing of the angle of a whole installation can be achieved.
